In addition to slides from the sail around the world, Kaci encouraged the graduates to "dare to do" in more ways than just travel. Dare to travel with your family. Dare to stay calm in dangerous situations. Dare to help people when you don't know their language. Dare to go. Dare to do. Dare to live this way right here in PT, anywhere in the world, or both. It was obvious from the many impressive speeches given by teachers and student, that JCS mission is being accomplished and that these kids, their teachers and their parents "dare to do". "It was an honor to be part of their celebration and to see William Bennett and Phoebe Reid, among other students whose parents I know, reach such impressive milestones and have such tremendous opportunity ahead."

A Life of Pax

Wednesday, May 28 from 11:30 to 1:00, Kaci will discuss the mystery, some stories, show photos and welcome people onboard Pax, her 28' Danish spidsgatter built in 1936. With a playful comparison to a song from the musical Oklahoma, Cronkhite shows how festivals and business "should be friends". Instead of festival crowds being a hardship, local businesses have creatively worked with us to exponentially leverage the branding and potential profits from this iconic Port Townsend event.
